Meet Bill Boleski–as John Lennon
Guitarist Bill Boleski got his start in music on the
Southeast Side of Chicago when he was introduced to a
record titled “Hound Dog” by Elvis Presley in 1956. At
the age of 3, his antics drove his mother crazy but
nonetheless she consistently encouraged him about his
music. He became a huge John Lennon fan after hearing
the Beatles and started imitating Lennon’s vocal styling.
His first band was a three piece group called
“Midnight Express,” which played hits from the sixties, as
well as originals.
Moving on, Bill played guitar and
shared lead vocals in“Still Crazy,” playing classic rock
as well as originals.
Bill is a great family man, centering his life on his
family, but never giving up his dreams, and keeping his
guitar playing skills sharp. After meeting Wayne and with
a little coaxing from Wayne and Bob, Bill is now back
performing the music he loves best, the Beatles via The
Beatapples! |
